In mid-November I got it in my head that I wanted to offer mini-sessions on a real, live Christmas tree farm. There’s nothing like leaving it until the last minute, right? I’d done my research and knew I wanted to hold the sessions out at the beautiful Ide Family Christmas Tree Farm in Downer’s Grove, IL, so I got in contact with them and headed out there to take some test snaps of the Ide family in preparation for my sessions.

You guys, the Ide family has got to be one of the sweetest, most fun families I’ve ever met!! I felt so welcome and had so much fun with them! And their farm is beautiful and makes me wish we didn’t have a fake Christmas tree so my little family could head out there to chop down one of their perfect trees. It was amazing!

This family was filled with so much love, and I’m so happy that these images captured that love. Ide family, you are awesome!
